Stolen Drift chatbot OAuth tokens used to pull data from customer Salesforce orgs
An attacker used OAuth tokens from Salesloft's Drift chat app to export data from customers' Salesforce instances between August 8 and 18, 2025, hunting for credentials such as AWS keys, passwords and Snowflake tokens. Mandiant found the attacker had been in Salesloft's GitHub account from March to June 2025 and then took the tokens from Drift's AWS environment. Salesloft revoked the tokens, took Drift offline and rotated credentials.
